The classic writings of Rav Yisrael Salanter and his disciple Rav Yitzchak Blazer

The classic mussar sefer for our times. The classic mussar sefer for all times.
Composed of Rav Yisrael Salanter's published essays and unpublished letters to his students, together with Rav Blazer's own ground-breaking essays, Ohr Yisrael has been hailed the classic mussar sefer for all times.
For the first time, Ohr Yisrael is available to the public in a beautifully rendered English language translation. This edition includes annotations that make many abstruse and difficult passages clear and that will give both scholar and layman a new understanding of this seminal work.
