Deeply ehrlich and profoundly connected to Hashem, his avodas Hashem defied easy categories. Known throughout the Syrian community simply as \u201cthe Rabbi,\u201d he was a rare individual who mastered every role he embraced. A gifted mechanech, an extraordinary talmid chacham, and a tireless baal chesed, he built people with wisdom, sensitivity, and uncanny insight.
