Rav Asher Weiss Parashah Vayik/Bamid/Devarim
He is also, as this work attests, a gadol b'Torah with a remarkable range of knowledge; a man whose very being is connected to the eternal wisdom of Torah — and a person who knows how to communicate that wisdom to others. In Rav Asher Weiss on the Parashah Rav Weiss draws upon dozens of classic sources and commentaries, as varied as Rambam and Meshech Chachmah, the Zohar and the Midrash, Minchas Chinuch and Rav Chaim of Volozhin, to help us better understand the message of the parashah, and our own lives. We examine, through the lens of the Torah luminaries, issues such as middos development, the unity (and disunity) of the Jewish people, and the vital importance of Torah study.
